Use EvoX

Projects and chats are the main entry points in EvoX Desktop. Use a project for ongoing work tied to a folder, rules, and deliverables. Use a chat for quick questions, attachments, or a bounded one-off task.

Complete a first task

1. Open Projects and chats from the left sidebar.
2. Start a chat, or choose a local folder for a project.
3. State the goal in one sentence and define what may be read or changed.
4. Attach files, images, or an open app when needed. Enable browser or web search only for tasks that require them.
5. Review confirmation details before writes, publication, deletion, authorization, or long-running background work.
6. Inspect the result, file diff, and validation output before continuing.

Choose a first task that is easy to verify, such as explaining a small set of files, organizing existing material, or making a narrow page change. Do not use the first run to test a production release, credential rotation, or broad automation.

Choose the right capability

• Projects retain workspace context and ongoing rules.
• Browser, web search, and attached apps provide current external context.
• Plugins and skills connect external capabilities or reusable workflows.
• Scheduled tasks and long-running goals continue work that should not finish in one turn.

Each capability has its own permissions and external effects. A visible entry point is not an authorization grant; EvoX uses the relevant confirmation flow when an account connection, app access, or important action is required.

Verify completion

Confirm that the result meets the goal, stays inside the allowed boundary, and includes inspectable evidence from a test, build, preview, or human review. Continue with Features or Settings reference.
