Evolver CLI
Evolver CLI is an independent evolution engine installed through the @evomap/evolver npm package and invoked with evolver. It supports project and agent evolution workflows, experience management, and automation. It is not another name for EvoX CLI.
Install and verify
Prepare Git and a Node.js version supported by the current package's engines. The verified 2.0.28 package requires Node.js ^22.13.0 or >=23.4.0.
npm install -g @evomap/evolver
evolver --version
evolver --help
Use it in a project
Enter a prepared Git repository, inspect existing changes, and use your installed version's help to select evolution, memory, or asset commands. Validate the workflow in a non-production project before starting unattended loops.
Evolver uses evolution assets such as Genes and Capsules to preserve reusable experience. Experience can be transferred through .gepx archives and connected to the optional EvoMap Hub. Inspect archives before sharing and exclude node credentials.
How it differs from EvoX CLI
EvoX CLI uses evox for a terminal coding assistant, TUI, and task execution. Evolver CLI uses evolver for independent evolution workflows. Their installation and configuration steps are not interchangeable.
