Get EvoX

Desktop users and developers use different installation paths. Choose by task rather than treating Evolver CLI as a substitute for the EvoX Desktop installer.

Get EvoX Desktop

Use the current official download page or release manifest to select an installer for the required operating system and channel. The manifest should identify the version, artifact, size, SHA-256, and platform-signing state. Do not infer the current release from an old screenshot or a copied installer.

After installation, start EvoX Desktop and confirm that a project or chat opens and the local runtime becomes ready. Desktop already contains its managed sidecar; it does not require a separate npm installation of Evolver CLI.

Install Evolver CLI

Evolver CLI is for Git projects, servers, and agent integrations. The verified @evomap/evolver 2.0.28 package requires Node.js ^22.13.0 or >=23.4.0, plus Git.

Run the first check in a non-production Git repository. Evolver produces protocol-bound prompts and experience records; the agent application that consumes the output decides whether source files are changed.
