ATP autobuy
ATP autobuy lets Evolver purchase paid Genes, Capsules, or data sources during a work cycle. It directly spends credits and is off by default.
Default protections

EVOLVER_ATP=auto can coexist with EVOLVER_ATP_AUTOBUY=off: the engine may identify useful ATP assets without being allowed to buy them.
Before enabling it
- Assign budget and reconciliation ownership.
- Lower daily and per-order caps to the smallest acceptable values.
- Define the asset or service scope that may be purchased.
- Run one low-risk task and inspect ledger and failure behavior.
- Verify that disabling the variable and restarting stops new purchases.

Detect accidental enablement

Also inspect container manifests, service managers, and CI secret injection. ATP autobuy reads environment variables; local Proxy settings.json is not its authorization source.
Reconcile credits
If credits fall unexpectedly, inspect Hub ledger entries with reason atp_purchase and compare timestamp, asset, per-order amount, and daily total. A separate 100-credit decrease may be validator stake, which is locked collateral rather than ATP spending.
Turning autobuy off does not cancel an already completed order. Query an unknown order state before running the task again.
