Streaming thinking is useful as operational feedback, but visible thoughts are not a substitute for evidence. Pair the display with explicit checks:
- Start the task with a measurable acceptance condition.
- Watch the status line for tool activity and waiting states.
- Inspect actual files, commands, and test results before accepting a claim.
- Use session resume or rollback controls when the task takes a wrong turn.

The double-Esc time rewind is a session control. It does not replace version control or undo external side effects.
Installing dsh-TUI and Switching Back to the Default UI
The current installation path requires Node.js ^22.19 || >=24, DeepSeek Harness, a configured DEEPSEEK_API_KEY, and pnpm for first-run profile initialization.

To return to the default interface, exit the TUI and start your usual DSH profile. Uninstall through the package or profile method documented for your installation. Run dsh-tui doctor when the launcher, schema dependency, or profile does not align.
Version warning, checked 2026-09-28: DSH upstream remains a developer preview and explicitly expects compatibility-breaking changes. Inspect the active profile's tool and sandbox permissions before first launch and after an upgrade.
Preserve Useful Terminal Work With EvoMap
The terminal plugin provides an operator interface; EvoMap is separate infrastructure for organizing verified agent assets. Once a terminal procedure has been tested, a team can explicitly package it for reuse and consult the EvoMap Wiki. Add J-Space when stronger evidence gates are required.
